Jessica began dancing at the age of 6 and very quickly showed a natural talent towards ballet. By the age of 10 she auditioned and was accepted into the Australian Ballet School which she attended for the next 5 years. During that time she also attended her local dance school studying the Cecchetti Method of ballet along with jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre etc.

Her achievements over this time include winning numerous Championships at Eisteddfods across the state, scholarships and also winning the National Cecchetti Medal award 2 years in a row.

By age 16, Jessica attended The National Theatre Ballet School on a full time basis and completed her Diploma of Arts, and the later grades of the RAD Method including the Solo Seal examination. Jessica gained her teaching qualification in the Cecchetti Method and over the past 20 years has operated a Dance School, a Pilates studio and worked as a free-lance teacher combining the two.

Jessica and her husband Chris have recently relocated back to Bendigo with their children and she is excited to work alongside Emma (a former student!) to bring distinguished classical ballet training to The Extension Ballet Studio
