Fees

Tiny Tots - 30min per week = $105 per term

Pre-primary - 40min per week  = $149 per term 

Primary - 80min per week = $298 per term

Preparatory - 2hrs per week = $397 per term 

Level 1 - 2hrs per week = $397 per term

Level 2 - 2.5hrs per week = $497 per term

Level 3 - 3hrs per week = $529 per term OR add optional 1.25hr open ballet class per week - 4.25hrs per week = $709 per term

Level 4 - 4.75hrs per week = $733 per term 

Level 5 - 4.75hrs per week = $733 per term

Senior Level - 4.75hrs per week = $733 per term

Fees are a flat rate regardless of term length. Fees exclude GST and are subject to change.

Terms & Conditions of Payments

  • Fees exclude GST and are subject to change.

  • Term fees and payments will be invoiced during school holidays and are due by the end of week two of each given term. Late payments incur a $20 late fee and students may not continue to participate in classes until rectified

  • An annual administration/insurance fee of $25.00 will be included on your term 1 invoice

  • A production and costume fee of $75 for our end of year performance will be included on your term 3 invoice, as well as additional fees for additional costumes

  • External examination fees are set by Ballet Conservatoire and are subject to change 

  • Refunds will not be issued for state implemented lockdowns. Instead, regular classes will continue online OR make up classes will be offered at a later date (usually in the school holidays)

  • Fees are a commitment made per term, refunds will not be issued for mid-term withdrawals

  • Refunds cannot be offered for absences, however students may attend a make up class in a lower level

Studio Requirements

  • Students must be enrolled in all classes for their level, this is to allow students to learn syllabus and performance work

  • Students must have at least 75% attendance to be able to participate in any performances/exams

  • Students may be invited to participate in external examinations at the studio owner's discretion

  • All students are encouraged to participate in annual internal examinations to receive feedback

  • All students are invited and encouraged to attend our Mid-year Showcase week (in-studio at the end of term 2) and End of Year Production (theatre performance at the end of term 4)

  • Audience members will not be permitted to take photos or videos during any live-theatre performances due to copyright and privacy laws

  • Students must be in correct uniform for all classes

  • Students participating in Pilates classes will require their own Pilates mat and theraband

  • Female students moving into Level 4 will be required to see a physiotherapist for a pre-pointe assessment

  • If students are to appear at any events including but not limited to; examinations, competitions and fundraisers, students must represent The Extension Ballet Studio in a professional manner. This includes being on time, being well groomed and in uniform, and being polite to others in attendance

  • The Extension Ballet Studio has a zero tolerance policy for bullying and strives to be inclusive and provide equal opportunities for all students

  • The Extension Ballet Studio is required to enforce all government mandated rules in regards to COVID-19.

Uniform

Please note that Mino Dance in Bendigo has now permanently closed. Uniforms can be purchased from Mino Dance Sunbury, or in person/online at any Energetiks or Bloch stores

The Extension Ballet Studio pride ourselves on professional presentation. Students must be in correct uniform for all classes with hair in a neat ballet bun, or out of face for boys. The only accepted hair accessories are a bun wrap or classical ballet bow to match uniform colours. All watches and jewellery must be removed prior to classes other than stud or sleeper earrings. Please note - only bodystockings or ballet underwear are to be worn under leotards.

Tiny Tots:
